Key Responsibilities

  1. Administrative Support

  2. Scheduling meetings, site visits, and project timelines.

  3. Preparing quotes, invoices, and purchase orders. (Optional)
  4. Handling emails, phone calls, and customer inquiries.

  5. Production & Workflow Support

  6. Assisting with job scheduling for cabinet makers and installers.

  7. Tracking project progress and updating timelines.
  8. Coordinating with suppliers for materials, hardware, and finishes.

  9. Customer Service

  10. Acting as the first point of contact for clients.

  11. Helping with design documentation or client selections (e.g., laminates, handles, benchtops).
  12. Managing after-sales service requests or issues.

  13. Operational Support

  14. Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety standards.

  15. Keeping records of stock levels and ordering when necessary.
  16. Supporting the manager with reporting and budgeting tasks.

  17. Team Coordination

  18. Relaying instructions from management to tradespeople.

  19. Assisting with rostering and time tracking.
  20. Helping resolve day-to-day issues in the workshop or on-site.

Skills Needed
  • Organisation & time management (to juggle multiple projects).
  • Communication skills (liaising with tradespeople, clients, and suppliers).
  • Basic industry knowledge (materials, joinery processes, design terminology).
  • Computer literacy (Excel, project management software, CAD/Micrvellum software basics can be a plus).
  • Problem-solving skills (resolving scheduling or supply issues quickly).
