About the role
This is a unique opportunity to join our People and Culture team within our Practice Support Group division, which is the hub of the firm, assisting all other divisions to ensure they function at optimal performance. Reporting to the Head of People, you'll play a key role in designing, coordinating, and delivering effective learning solutions that drive business performance and support growth.
Your main tasks will include identifying learning and development needs, sourcing or creating solutions, managing logistics, facilitating, managing vendors or external facilitators and evaluating training outcomes to ensure they are fit for purpose.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead L&D initiatives in line with firm strategy and values, collaborating closely with Head of People and P&C Business Partners
- Design, coordinate, and deliver learning programs, managing scheduling and logistics
- Assess and adapt training needs across the firm in partnership with P&C Business Partners
- Support BD program delivery with Business Development & Marketing
- Conduct training needs analysis and develop a learning calendar
- Facilitate a range of learning programs across the firm
- Continuously improve and evaluate training programs based on feedback
- Manage external vendor relationships and digital platforms
- Support onboarding and national student induction programs
- Forecast learning needs and source relevant opportunities
- Provide timely L&D reporting and data analysis
- Manage the L&D budget with the Head of People
- Contribute to the employee value proposition
- Collaborate with IT and Finance to enhance digital and financial literacy
- Support career planning and tailored programs for high-potential staff
Skills and experience
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Commerce, HR, Education, or Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment
- Familiarity with technology and emerging practices
- Experience in developing, managing, and coordinating L&D programs
- Ability to deliver effective learning solutions and frameworks
- Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills
- Proven relationship-building and influencing abilities at all levels
- Initiative, problem-solving skills, and ability to prioritise tasks
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Collaborative team player, results-driven, and committed to organisational success
- Proficient in MS Office and digital learning platforms
- Skilled in applying HR analytics and metrics for insight-driven decisions
