About The Role
RMH is seeking an influential and visionary Chief Strategy Officer to shape our health service and embed our strategic plan through bold execution and clear accountability. Reporting directly to the CEO and as a trusted partner to the Executive and Board, this role will drive organisational effectiveness, champion innovation, and position RMH as a sector leader in sustainable, world-class healthcare delivery.
Key Responsibilities
In this role you will:
- Lead the RMH strategic portfolio and embed future focused strategic initiatives and responsibilities across all services
- Advise on global healthcare trends, new models of care and emerging technologies
- Build high-impact partnerships across government, industry, academia and the health sector
- Drive commercial and growth opportunities to support RMH's long-term sustainability
- Lead special projects, service reviews and system-wide improvement initiatives
- Guide future-focused business planning, impact measurement and governance reporting
- Influence system changes through innovation and pragmatic strategic execution
About You
You are a strategic and influential leader who brings:
- Extensive experience in strategy, innovation, change and high-level stakeholder engagement.
- Deep understanding of the Victorian healthcare system and proven success navigating complex policy and operational environments.
- Strong analytical and commercial acumen, using data and insight to drive growth and sustainable outcomes.
- A track record of leading large-scale transformation and building trusted partnerships across government, industry and community sectors.
- A collaborative and influential leadership style, with exceptional communication and negotiation skills
- Commitment to living by our values – putting people first, leading with kindness and achieving excellence together
