Our investors include institutional investors, wealth platforms, and developers seeking bespoke funding solutions. We manage a diverse portfolio spanning residential, office, retail, and tourism assets.

About the Opportunity

As a Credit Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Denning's private credit business, contributing to our investments in real estate development projects throughout the Eastern Seaboard of Australia and New Zealand. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Financial Modelling: Develop and maintain advanced financial models to assess potential investments and monitor existing portfolios.
  • Feasibility and Credit Analysis: Conduct comprehensive development feasibility studies and credit analyses to evaluate the viability and risk of investment opportunities.
  • Market Research and Due Diligence: Perform in-depth market research and due diligence to identify emerging trends and inform investment decisions.
  • Origination Support: Work closely with senior team members on transaction structuring, credit papers, and investment committee submissions.
  • Transaction Documentation: Prepare detailed investment committee memorandums, information memorandums, and monthly investor reports.
  • Project Management: Oversee projects from origination through to completion and ongoing credit monitoring, ensuring timely and successful execution.
  • General Support: Perform administrative and other general support items as required.

Key Attributes

We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:

  • Experience: 3 to 5 years' experience in finance or development industries, with a focus on real estate or private credit.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with exceptional technical knowledge and attention to detail.
  • Advanced Computer Skills: Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Stakeholder Management: Proven experience in managing relationships with various stakeholders, including investors, borrowers, and consultants.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within a team environment, contributing to a collegial and engaged workplace culture.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in finance, commerce, or a related field is preferred.

This role is based in our Sydney office.
