Denning provides mid-market real estate construction finance, specialising in private credit solutions that deliver flexibility and speed of execution.
Our investors include institutional investors, wealth platforms, and developers seeking bespoke funding solutions. We manage a diverse portfolio spanning residential, office, retail, and tourism assets.
About the Opportunity
As a Credit Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Denning's private credit business, contributing to our investments in real estate development projects throughout the Eastern Seaboard of Australia and New Zealand. Your responsibilities will include:
- Financial Modelling: Develop and maintain advanced financial models to assess potential investments and monitor existing portfolios.
- Feasibility and Credit Analysis: Conduct comprehensive development feasibility studies and credit analyses to evaluate the viability and risk of investment opportunities.
- Market Research and Due Diligence: Perform in-depth market research and due diligence to identify emerging trends and inform investment decisions.
- Origination Support: Work closely with senior team members on transaction structuring, credit papers, and investment committee submissions.
- Transaction Documentation: Prepare detailed investment committee memorandums, information memorandums, and monthly investor reports.
- Project Management: Oversee projects from origination through to completion and ongoing credit monitoring, ensuring timely and successful execution.
- General Support: Perform administrative and other general support items as required.
Key Attributes
We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
- Experience: 3 to 5 years' experience in finance or development industries, with a focus on real estate or private credit.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with exceptional technical knowledge and attention to detail.
- Advanced Computer Skills: Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Stakeholder Management: Proven experience in managing relationships with various stakeholders, including investors, borrowers, and consultants.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within a team environment, contributing to a collegial and engaged workplace culture.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in finance, commerce, or a related field is preferred.

This role is based in our Sydney office.
