Your New Role

Due to an internal promotion, a vacancy has arisen for the Philanthropy Manager – Engagement. This role works closely with the Senior Philanthropy Manager and Director to cultivate and manage major donor relationships ($50,000 to $1 million). It leads the development and delivery of a highly customised stewardship program to deepen donor engagement and oversees philanthropic campaigns aligned with the university's strategic priorities. The manager will also build and manage a portfolio of donors and prospects to grow philanthropic support.

Your key responsibilities will include –

  • Develop to deliver tailored donor stewardship plans and engagement activities
  • Manage major gift prospects to meet fundraising targets and support university priorities
  • Represent the Alumni and Philanthropy Office, maintain accurate donor records, and drive new engagement opportunities

This Continuous, Full Time (37.5 hours per week) attracts a remuneration of $112,142.00 – $128, pro rata) plus 17% employer superannuation contributions.

What you'll bring to the role:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and minimum five years' experience, or equivalent
  • Proven success in building long-term donor relationships and delivering fundraising outcomes
  • Strong project management skills, ideally in a not-for-profit or education setting
  • High proficiency in CRM systems and data management
  • Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and time management skills
