The Senior Salesforce Consultant collaborates closely with the Consulting Director of the Salesforce Team to lead the analysis of complex business requirements and design innovative solutions utilising the full capabilities of the Salesforce platform.
This role engages with stakeholders to thoroughly understand their needs, configure Salesforce solutions, and offer expert guidance on best practices. Deep expertise in Salesforce functionality will be pivotal in ensuring the successful implementation and optimisation of Salesforce solutions to drive significant business value.
Additionally, this role mentors and supports junior consultants, contributes to project scoping and estimation, and stays up-to-date with Salesforce updates and industry trends to maintain the highest standards of consulting excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Design and Implementation
- Lead the analysis of complex business requirements and design innovative solutions using Salesforce platform capabilities.
- Develop and configure Salesforce solutions to meet client needs.
- Ensure the successful implementation and optimisation of Salesforce solutions to drive significant business value.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including technical specifications, process flows, and user guides.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand their business processes and requirements.
- Conduct workshops, interviews, and meetings to gather and validate business needs.
- Provide expert guidance on Salesforce best practices and industry standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients to manage expectations and deliver project updates.
Technical Leadership
- Serve as a technical lead on Salesforce projects, guiding the development team and ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Mentor and support junior consultants and developers, fostering their professional growth.
- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Salesforce implementations.
Project Management
- Contribute to project scoping and estimation, ensuring realistic timelines and resource allocation.
- Develop detailed project plans and manage project timelines to ensure on-time delivery.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Continuous Improvement
- Stay up-to-date with Salesforce updates, new features, and industry trends.
- Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and processes to enhance the consulting practice.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess project success and identify areas for improvement.
- Participate in knowledge sharing and training sessions to keep the team informed and skilled.
Client Support
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for implemented Salesforce solutions.
- Develop and deliver training sessions to end-users to ensure effective use of Salesforce.
- Address and resolve client issues promptly, maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, identifying opportunities for additional value.
