If you are a high energy and driven salesperson who enjoys dedicated customer service and high quality Scandinavian designed furniture, we would love to hear from you.

We are looking for someone with a warm and friendly disposition who genuinely enjoys engaging with others, has retail sales expertise and holds a strong interest in interiors and design.

This casual position is based at both our Fortitude Valley and Milton showrooms in Brisbane. It is for 1 - 2 shifts during the week and 1 shift on the weekend.

The Modern Furniture store is a retail business specialising in high quality and well-priced Mid-Century and Scandinavian designed furniture and accessories intended for everyday use in the home or work. Key to our success over the past 14 years is our in-store experience supported by our talented team offering exceptional customer experience. We currently have showrooms located in Brisbane, Noosa Heads, Bowral, Melbourne, Sydney and Canberra.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales and administrative tasks to support customer transactions 

• Working towards team sales targets

• Providing exceptional customer service

• Impressing clients with your outstanding product knowledge and interior suggestions

You will demonstrate:

• Strong sales skills with high standards of customer service 

• Background in furniture and interior design is desirable but not essential

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Highly motivated and result oriented

• Ability to work well within a small team

• Enthusiasm and a sense of fun
