Women in SEO & Digital Marketing (WiSDM
) community is seeking a highly organised and proactive
Event & Marketing Coordinator
to drive the final execution and delivery of our flagship International Women's Day event,
"Breaking Barriers"
on March 5th 2026.

This is a high-impact, project-based role perfect for an experienced freelancer looking to expand their network and elevate their portfolio.

Role Overview & Timeline

  • Event Focus: WiSDM International Women's Day "Breaking Barriers" Celebration on March 5th 2026.
  • Contract Term: Approximately
    6 weeks
    (Early Feb 2026 – Mid-March 2026).
  • Hours: Flexible, part-time commitment (approx.
    hours/week
    , escalating in mid Feb).
  • Location: Sydney-based required.
  • Contract Entity: Switch Key Digital Pty Ltd T/A Women in SEO & Digital Marketing.

Key Responsibilities

The Coordinator will take ownership of the final phase of event execution, ensuring a seamless and high-quality delivery for our attendees and Headline Sponsor.

1. Event Logistics & Vendor Management

  • Finalise venue arrangements, catering orders, and AV setup.
  • Coordinate vendor schedules and manage bump-in/bump-out logistics.
  • Manage the on-the-day run-of-show and coordinate event volunteers/onsite staff.

2. Sponsor Fulfillment

  • Act as the primary contact for the Headline Sponsor's pre-event and onsite assets.
  • Ensure all contractual sponsorship obligations (branding, speaking slots, marketing) are executed flawlessly.

3. Marketing & Communications

  • Drive final ticket sales and attendee communication campaigns (email, social media).
  • Manage pre-event and post-event social media content schedule.
  • Onsite Content Direction:
    Coordinate and execute the live event content plan, including
    taking high quality event photography
    and
    directing the contracted videographer
    to ensure all key moments and sponsor assets are captured.

4. Additional Project Capacity (Optional/Extended):

  • The role offers optional capacity for additional paid, short-term client work for Switch Key Digital in B2B social media strategy and content creation during the contract period with potential for future work.

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven Track Record
    :
    Demonstrated experience in event coordination
    and digital marketing execution, with a strong ability to manage projects autonomously.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage complex tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Content Proficiency:
    Practical skills in taking
    professional live event/social photography
    and experience providing effective direction to videography/content teams.
  • Mandatory:
    Guaranteed availability for the full contract period and the event date on March 5th 2026.
