About the Role

VDS Constructions PTY LTD is seeking an experienced and skilled Commercial Maintenance Worker to join our team.

As a Maintenance Worker, you will play a key role in carrying out repairs, maintenance, and small works across a range of commercial properties throughout Sydney. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay and the opportunity to work with a professional and growing company that values quality, reliability, and teamwork.


What You'll Be Doing
  • Performing general building and property maintenance across commercial sites
  • Completing minor carpentry, plastering, painting, and repair work
  • Conducting routine inspections and responding promptly to maintenance requests
  • Travelling between multiple job sites each day to carry out scheduled and reactive maintenance tasks
  • Liaising with clients, site managers, and tenants in a professional manner
  • Ensuring all work is performed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
  • Maintaining a safe and organised work environment, adhering to all WHS requirements

What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience in commercial maintenance or a related trade role
  • Strong practical skills across general repairs, carpentry, and/or handyman work
  • Own vehicle (required) – travel between job sites is essential
  • Own tools (preferred) – suitable for general maintenance work
  • Current driver's licence and White Card (Construction Induction)
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across multiple sites
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Professional presentation and customer service skills
