Electrical Data Voice Pty Ltd (EDV) are looking for a motivated and capable site supervisors, site tradesmen, service technicians and suitable sub-contractors to join our team.

Role and Responsibilities of Site Supervisor:

  • Supervise day to day duties of commercial fit outs – From small projects to large multi-level commercial fit out with 20+ staff.
  • Co-ordinate with builders onsite to hand over projects to the highest standard
  • Liaise with EDV project managers in all site-based aspects of the project.
  • Work on the tools as required.
  • Communicate clearly and politely with team members, head contractors, other trades and clients.
  • Manage the day to day ordering of materials, deliveries and resources.
  • Desire to excel in an ever-evolving industry.

Role and Responsibilities of Site Tradesman and Service Technicians:

  • Complete day to day duties of commercial fit outs and maintenance contracts – From one off service calls to small projects to large multi-level commercial fit out.
  • Co-ordinate with supervisor to hand over all works to the highest standard
  • Communicate clearly and politely with team members, head contractors, other trades and clients.
  • Supervise and monitor apprentice progression into tradesmen.
  • Lead apprentices and other tradesman in completing allocated tasks within the greater project.
  • Desire to excel in an ever-evolving industry.
  • Hold good time keeping and organisation skills in order to work across multiply project un-supervised at times.

Requirements:

  • Must hold a current Q.S or Contractors NSW Electrical Licence.
  • Very good understanding of all aspect of office data cabling – Cat6 and Cat6A and fibre optics networks.
  • Evidence of prior supervision experience within the industry.
  • Knowledge of testing requirements for data and fibre systems using Fluke DSX-5000 Cable testers.
  • A solid understanding around installation of lighting control systems – C-bus, Dynalite & KNX.
  • Experience with critical infrastructure systems including U.P.S units.
  • Experienced in all aspect of switchboard works.
  • Have a good work ethic and ability to work autonomously as well as part of a larger team.
  • Experienced and proven record in similar role.
