The Opportunity

KOSEC is seeking a Dealers Assistant to support our investment committee and trading operations, playing a critical role in client success and market execution. This fast-paced role provides an exceptional opportunity to work alongside industry-leading professionals, gain exposure to unique investment strategies, and contribute to KOSEC's continued success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the investment committee, identifying and acting on market opportunities.
  • Establish client accounts, execute trades, and support portfolio management activities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with ASX-listed companies, creating strategic partnerships that enhance investment opportunities.
  • Conduct daily research from global and local financial sources to identify market trends and investment potential.
  • Apply technical analysis and fundamental research to uncover attractive trading opportunities within the All Ordinaries Index.
  • Provide clients with real-time market insights, advising on optimal entry and exit points for trades.
What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for financial markets and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. We are seeking individuals who demonstrate:

  • Proficiency in fundamental and technical analysis, with the ability to interpret market trends.
  • A strong understanding of publicly traded companies, investment research, and equity markets.
  • Exceptional sales and communication skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
  • Proven ability to conduct detailed financial research and market analysis.
  • A tertiary qualification in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Actuarial Science, or Accounting.
  • RG146 qualification in General Advice and Securities.
  • An established network of ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) investors is highly desirable.
