Are you ready to manage key client relationships and oversee integrated campaigns across multiple accounts? Awaken is seeking a Senior Account Manager for a 12-month maternity leave cover within our Client Services function. You'll work across a mix of local and global brands, collaborate closely with specialist teams, and build your career in a flexible, supportive, independent agency environment.

Role Overview

As a Senior Account Manager, you'll manage client relationships and oversee the delivery of campaigns across multiple accounts. You'll handle day-to-day operations, develop clear briefs, contribute to strategic thinking, and keep work moving smoothly across the agency. This role is ideal for someone with 4+ years of agency experience who's looking to take on broader responsibility and work more closely with clients.

What You'll Do

Manage client relationships

  • You'll lead a number of B2B and B2C accounts across a variety of verticals.
  • Be a consistent point of contact across your accounts.
  • Understand client needs and communicate updates clearly.
  • Run meetings and present work with confidence.

Oversee campaigns from brief to delivery

  • Translate briefs into clear actions and next steps
  • Coordinate with Media, Creative and Insights to keep work aligned.
  • Manage timelines, feedback, approvals and reporting.

Ensure quality and clarity in the work

  • Brief assets accurately and review outputs before they go to clients.
  • Keep track of versions, requirements and delivery details.
  • Provide input that strengthens recommendations and outcomes.

Manage project budgets and scopes

  • Monitor budgets, scope changes and forecasting.
  • Flag issues early and support the commercial process.

Contribute to how we work

  • Bring observations, ideas and improvements that make the work better and the process smoother.

What You'll Bring

  • 4+ years' experience in advertising, media, or integrated agencies.
  • Solid understanding of integrated campaigns across digital, social and OOH.
  • Confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Comfortable managing scopes, budgets and the commercial side of account work.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay organised across multiple projects.
  • A steady, practical approach when priorities shift.
  • Someone who works well in a small, flat environment and takes ownership of their work.
  • You're proactive and always looking for practical ways to improve how we work.
