Ipswich, Australia West Moreton Hospital and Health Service Full time $60,000 - $90,000 per year

About The Role

  • Assist in month end reporting and financial requirements including journals, preparation of reports, analysis of results, acquittals and cost centre maintenance.
  • Prepare invoices for processing including both supplier and customer invoices. This includes external payments for clinical staff and paperwork required to allow for invoicing of centrally held agreements.
  • Perform daily financial administrative activities for Clinical agency payments including goods receipting, purchase order maintenance, invoice tracking, scanning and electronic filing of forms, preparing journals to the finance system, provision of support to other Finance Officers and running standard finance reports as required.
  • Organise administrative support requirements of the management accounting team including but not restricted to, mail, registers, filing systems, office supplies, coordinating meetings including minutes and associated travel.

About You
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:

  • Ability to undertake administrative and finance functions including coordinating the administrative requirements of a team and assisting in month end reporting requirements, budgets, human resource information and other processes in a diverse operating environment.
  • Exceptional organisational and prioritisation skills in a complex and diverse environment.
  • Intermediate level skills in the application of computerised information systems to enable the development and analysis of meaningful reports, including:

  • Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word

  • Financial Management and reporting systems, e.g. SAP/FAMMIS, Decision Support System or similar

  • High level attention to detail ensuring accuracy and completeness of work provided Analytical abilities or the ability to acquire knowledge to enable problem solving, analysis and assist in the identification of key issues to be addressed to progress the achievement of Divisional business objectives.

  • High level communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact and communicate with people from diverse backgrounds.
