We are urgently seeking an experienced Accounts Officer to start immediately in a temporary full-time assignment with a highly reputable road and civil construction business located in the Ipswich area. Assisting with high volume accounts processing, this role will be Monday to Friday and there is flexibility to start at either 7:30am or 8:00am.

**Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role will be responsible for a range of accounts duties, together with associated administration tasks including**:

- Entering data from supplier invoices, verifying invoices, processing payments, maintaining and updating an accounts payable ledger
- Follow up of outstanding invoices and statements, and prepare the appropriate documentation for payment
- Assist with end of month processing and reporting
- Associated administration tasks, filing/archiving, matching correspondence and general administration support.

**To be considered for this temporary opportunity, you will need to demonstrate**:

- High volume accounts payable processing experience
- Fast and accurate data entry skills
- High attention to detail
- Intermediate MS Excel skills
- Experience using ERP/financial management software systems (experience using Sybiz Vision advantageous but not essential)
- Availability to commence asap and work Monday to Friday (7:30am to 3:30pm or 8:00am to 4:00pm)
