Position Overview

We are seeking experienced female Disability Support Workers to join our dedicated team. This position involves providing high-quality, person-centered care and support to NDIS participants, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

This is a female-only positiondue to the personal care requirements and preferences of some female participants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct support with daily living activities including personal care, hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
  • Assist participants in accessing community, social, and recreational activities.
  • Support clients in developing independence, life skills, and confidence in a safe and respectful manner.
  • Implement individualized support plans and report progress or changes in participant needs.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records and progress notes.
  • Monitor participant safety and well-being, following incident reporting and safeguarding procedures.
  • Collaborate effectively with families, healthcare professionals, and other support providers.
  • Uphold NDIS Practice Standards and the Code of Conduct at all times.
Essential Criteria
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a Disability Support Worker or in a related care role.
  • Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Disability), Community Services, or equivalent.
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certification.
  • Current Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) Card.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance.
  • Valid Australian Driver's License and access to a reliable, insured vehicle.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated understanding of person-centered and trauma-informed care principles.
