Indoor Plant Sales Assistant – Casual
Locations: Oakleigh, South Melbourne & Ringwood
Are you passionate about indoor plants and love helping people? We're looking for an enthusiastic team member to join Melbourne Indoor Plants as a Sales Assistant. In this casual role, you'll provide friendly customer service, care for plants, and keep our store looking great.
What You'll Do:
- Greet and assist customers, offering friendly, knowledgeable advice
- Help customers choose the right indoor plants for their space and lifestyle
- Provide plant care tips and answer questions confidently
- Water, prune, and monitor plant health, keeping displays fresh and vibrant
- Restock shelves and maintain a clean, inviting retail environment
- Support the team with general store duties as needed
What We're Looking For:
- A genuine passion for indoor plants and a willingness to learn
- Customer service or retail experience (plant-related a bonus)
- Strong communication and people skills
- Ability to stay organised and maintain a visually appealing store
- Positive, energetic and proactive – a true team player who loves helping others
- Available to work across multiple store locations if needed
