What your days will bring
-
Assist in overseeing daily Club operations across all departments including Centro, HUB Café, Sportsbar, Functions, Reception, Bus, and Gaming.

Supervise and support staff to ensure prompt, professional service and adherence to Club policies, RSA/RSG standards, and hygiene protocols.
-
Act as a point of contact for customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring a positive and professional Club experience.

Monitor stock levels and assist with stock movement, transfers and stocktake as required.
-
Support marketing and promotional initiatives.
-
Provide on-the-job training, particularly for new or developing team members.
-
Complete incident reports and employee performance documentation as needed.
-
Maintain Club ambiance including lighting, music, cleanliness, and presentation.
-
Coordinate staff breaks and shift coverage, ensuring smooth workflow.
-
Uphold and role model Magpies' values and service standards.
-
Act as Relief Duty Manager when required, leading Club operations and decision-making during shifts.
-
Communicate effectively with Security, Duty Managers, and management, including end-of-shift reporting.
Who we are looking for

Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work a range of shifts including weekends, nights and public holidays

Significant experience in a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry

Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to make decisions under pressure
-
Working knowledge of liquor licensing, workplace health and safety, and other relevant legislation
-
Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities
