Receptionist – Immediate Start (3–6 Month Contract)

Full-time | Onsite | Melbourne CBD fringe

Our client is seeking a polished, friendly, and proactive
Receptionist
to support their growing team in their newly designed Melbourne office. This is a
3–6 month contract
with an
immediate start
, working in a warm, collaborative environment —
not a lonely front desk role
.

You'll be part of a
young, vibey, and supportive team
, working closely with Advisors, Operations, and Client Support to ensure the office runs smoothly and visitors receive a first-class experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet clients and visitors, managing sign-ins via a digital visitor management system
  • Oversee meeting room bookings and ensure rooms are tidy, prepared, and client-ready
  • Support office coordination including stationery, supplies, kitchen amenities, and couriers
  • Assist with events, including ordering catering and helping with set-up
  • Provide administrative support to Advisors and the broader team
  • Liaise with IT for new starter laptop and equipment coordination
  • Assist with onboarding processes for new employees
  • Maintain security and safety protocols

About You

  • Experience in Reception, Front Office, or Administration
  • Professional, warm communication style with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational ability with a proactive and helpful attitude
  • Confident using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Enjoys being part of a team and supporting a busy, positive office environment

This is a
full-time, Monday to Friday onsite
