Forklift Driver – Day Shift – Braeside, Melbourne

Location – Braeside 6:00AM - 6:00PM, 7-day fortnight, rotating roster.

Our business is expanding and with this comes great career opportunities. We are looking for an exceptional Forklift Driver to become a part of a close knit team within our prestigious production facility.

We are looking for individuals who demonstrates the following:

  • Ability to safely operate a forklift to move stock and handle materials.
  • Loading and unloading trucks and containers.
  • Maintain accurate stock movements using RF scanners.
  • Communicate with each department to identify daily requirements.
  • Is willing to assist with general operational duties.
  • Able to lift up to 25kgs.

As one of our new team members you will have:

  • At least two-years experience operating a forklift (preferably High Reach) and using a RF scanner.
  • Hold a current Forklift Licence (preferably High Reach).
  • Excellent communication skills & pride in your work.
  • The ability to work as a team member and autonomously.
  • Attention to detail and timelines.
  • A strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
  • Commitment to safe work practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and can adapt to changing workloads.

This role is pivotal in providing all our cafés and customers with the bread that has made Laurent Bakery famous, Australia wide.
