This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the Cash Management team within Perpetual Corporate Trust (PCT) a specialist business within the Perpetual Group. PCT is a market leader in fiduciary, custody, and digital solutions, with a strong presence in Australia and Singapore. About the Role
The role involves building effective client relationships, acting on client instructions within required timeframes, and responding to various banking enquiries. Accounts administration tasks include issuing client correspondence, managing new users in various banking systems, resolving account-related queries, verifying documentation, and conducting due diligence. As a key support function, the role requires effective stakeholder management, interpersonal skills and ability to talk to clients on the phone.
As an Accounts Management Officer Cash Management, you will:
- Manage Perpetual Corporate Trust bank account opening and closure requests
- Manage and resolve all account/user/transaction related queries with all Perpetual Corporate Trust banking partners
- Manage user setups in various internal and external systems
- Maintain accurate records in internal systems; both electronic and paper-based format
- Build effective relationships with clients and act upon client instructions within required timeframes (SLAs)
- Respond to client enquiries relating to various services, financial products, fees and conditions
- Identify and mitigate risks and ensure compliance with legal and statutory requirements
- Use initiative, work with deadlines and perform tasks with high level of accuracy
- Communicate effectively on issues to Senior Management and ensure a proper and timely follow-up to ensure resolution
- Provide guidance, support, act as resource and assist team members from multiple operational areas.
About you
If you are ready to take your career to the next level, we are looking for talented individuals with:
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in Financial Services preferably in a similar role
- Previous experience with accounts administration including opening and closing bank accounts (highly desirable)
- Experience with online banking user administration (highly desirable)
- Experience with onboarding and offboarding clients (highly desirable)
- Knowledge of AML/KYC activities in the financial services industry is advantageous (highly desirable)
- Excellent client management skills and relationship management experience
- Experience with foreign currency transactions, global payment formatting, domestic banking platforms, RTGS, & debt directory exchange
- Knowledge of Privacy Act obligations, relevant industry codes and legislation.
