About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join our leadership team in Alexandria.
This is a hands-on, senior role responsible for overseeing trust accounting compliance, leading revenue management across our property portfolio, and optimising financial processes. You'll lead a small offshore finance team and work closely with operations and senior leadership to ensure accurate reporting, strong cash flow management, and scalable systems that support AirKeeper's rapid growth.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in trust accounting (real estate, property management, or hospitality) and a solid understanding of revenue management in hotels or short-term rentals.
Key ResponsibilitiesTrust Accounting & Compliance
Manage all trust account reconciliations, disbursements, and compliance with state regulations (NSW, VIC, QLD).
- Liaise with auditors and ensure full compliance with industry and legal requirements.
Revenue Management
Oversee revenue recognition, monthly P&L, and cash flow forecasting.
- Work with the revenue team to monitor property performance and optimise occupancy, ADR and profitability.
Team Leadership
Lead and mentor a team of offshore finance professionals.
- Provide training, set KPIs, and ensure timely delivery of reports and reconciliations.
Process Improvement & Systems
Streamline workflows, implement automation where possible, and improve internal controls.
- Partner with operations to resolve discrepancies quickly and enhance owner reporting.
Stakeholder Reporting
Deliver monthly and quarterly financial reports to the General Manager and Managing Director.
- Present insights on performance, risks, and opportunities.

You'll bring:
- Proven experience in trust accounting within real estate, property management, or hospitality.
- Experience in revenue management (hotels, serviced apartments, or short-term rentals highly regarded).
- Strong leadership skills — ability to manage, coach and motivate offshore teams.
- Advanced skills in financial reporting, reconciliations, and Excel (or BI tools).
- Process-driven mindset with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and scalability.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
