CSG Talent are working with an industry-leader in 2D & 3D Geotechnical software. Backed by private equity, the business has expanded significantly over the last two years through strategic acquisitions. As such, they are looking to add a Business development Manager to lead sales growth in Brisbane & Indonesia.

With a strong focus on customer success and innovation, they are driving digital transformation in geotechnical engineering worldwide. This is a hands-on role focused on winning new business, building strategic customer relationships, and ensuring long-term client success. You will play a pivotal role in driving expansion in the region, working with customers across the mining, civil, and engineering sectors.

This role will be based in Brisbane, reporting to the manager for APAC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business growth for geotechnical software and services.
  • Develop and manage strategic account plans for key enterprise and government clients.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through active prospecting and inbound lead management.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance brand presence and generate leads.
  • Collaborate with the APAC Director to design and execute the go-to-market strategy.
  • Partner closely with product and engineering teams, providing feedback to shape future SaaS offerings.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years' experience in SaaS or technical software sales.
  • Knowledge of geotechnical engineering or related sectors.
  • Proven success in solution selling to technical buyers (engineers, project managers, procurement).
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (MBA is a plus).
  • Willingness to travel for client and industry engagements.
