Our client is looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer
to support a major transformation program involving ITSM module enhancements, custom app development, and systems integration. You'll be working in a collaborative Agile environment alongside ServiceNow architects, BAs, and internal platform owners.

This is a
Melbourne-based contract role
, ideal for someone with strong scripting and configuration skills, confident navigating complex environments, and ready to contribute from day one.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Design, develop, and customise solutions on the
    ServiceNow platform
  • Implement and enhance ITSM modules
    (Incident, Change, Problem, CMDB, Knowledge, etc.)
  • Create and optimise
    workflows
    ,
    UI policies
    ,
    business rules
    , and
    catalog items
  • Develop custom applications and scripts using JavaScript
    ,
    Glide
    , and
    Flow Designer
  • Integrate ServiceNow with third-party systems (REST/SOAP APIs, MID Servers)
  • Support testing, deployment, documentation, and ongoing maintenance
  • Collaborate with architects, testers, and stakeholders in Agile delivery cycles

What We're Looking For

  • 4+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience
  • Strong experience with
    ITSM modules
    ,
    workflow design
    , and
    platform scripting
  • Proficient in JavaScript
    ,
    Glide scripting
    , and
    ServiceNow APIs
  • Experience with integration tools
    ,
    MID Server
    , and
    external system connectivity
  • Good understanding of CMDB
    ,
    RBAC
    , and platform security
  • Bonus: Certified ServiceNow Developer or ITSM Implementation Specialist
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
