Unley, Australia Kudos Services Full time $80,000 - $120,000 per year

Description:

About Kudos

Kudos Services is a vibrant, purpose-led organisation empowering children, young people and adults with disability or developmental delay to reach their full potential.

We're proudly an employee-owned mutual, meaning every one of our people has a voice in shaping how we deliver services. We believe in collaboration over hierarchy, learning over limitation, and heart over haste. Together, we're redefining what exceptional support looks like for our clients, our teams, and our community.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Positive Behaviour Support practitioner ready to step into a clinical leadership role that shapes practice quality, supports a passionate team, and drives meaningful outcomes across South Australia.

As our Positive Behaviour Support Practice Lead, you'll provide expert guidance, supervision and quality oversight for PBS practitioners delivering services under the NDIS. Your focus will be on clinical excellence, compliance and continuous improvement helping our practitioners grow their skills and confidence while ensuring our services remain trauma-informed, neuro-affirming and person-centred.

You'll work closely with Service Leads, the service development manager and multidisciplinary colleagues to strengthen practice standards and uphold the values that make Kudos such a special place to work.

What You'll Be Doing

Providing clinical supervision and mentoring to PBS practitioners across the state.

Reviewing and approving behaviour support plans in line with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission standards.

Leading quality improvement initiatives that strengthen service consistency and compliance.

Supporting complex case discussions and providing expert clinical advice.

Maintaining a small, hands-on clinical caseload to stay connected to practice.

Championing neuro-affirming, trauma-informed and person-centred approaches that drive positive outcomes for participants.

About You

You're an experienced behaviour support professional who thrives on developing others and raising the bar for quality practice. You love translating evidence into real-world impact and feel at home collaborating with diverse teams. You're curious, open, and unafraid to challenge "the way it's always been done" because you believe people deserve better.

You'll also bring:

A tertiary qualification in a relevant allied health or behavioural science field.

NDIS Practitioner Suitability at Proficient level or higher (Advanced or Specialist preferred).

Demonstrated experience in functional behaviour assessments, plan development and reducing restrictive practices.

Strong supervision and mentoring skills.

A passion for embedding best practice and continuous improvement across teams.

Why You'll Love Working with Kudos

You'll shape practice, not just follow policy.

Flexibility to work from home and from our sites

As a staff-owned mutual, your ideas directly influence how we grow.

Ongoing development, supervision and leadership coaching.

Every decision you make impacts the lives of people with disability and their families.

Ready to lead with knowledge, camaraderie, enterprise and heart?

If you're ready to take the next step in your PBS career to mentor, influence, and elevate practice across an organisation that values its people we'd love to hear from you.
