What You'll Be Doing

  • Plan, coordinate, and optimise daily transport schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
  • Liaise with drivers, suppliers, and internal teams to manage transport activities and quickly resolve any issues.
  • Create and allocate jobs within our Transport Management System (Transvirtual).
  • Efficiently merge multiple deliveries and pickups to maximise fleet utilisation.
  • Monitor and review transport performance, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all transport regulations, health and safety standards, and company procedures.
  • Maintain accurate transport records, prepare reports, and support management with performance insights.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Support other team members and departments as required.

What You'll Bring

  • Previous experience in transport planning, fleet coordination, or logistics is essential.
  • Solid understanding of transport regulations, including vehicle compliance and working time directives.
  • Proficiency in route planning tools and Transport Management Systems (Transvirtual experience preferred).
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Excel.
  • Detailed knowledge of metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria (interstate experience a bonus).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay calm under pressure.
  • Professional, detail-oriented, and team-focused mindset.
  • A forklift licence is an advantage.
