Warehouse Storeperson

National Auto Glass Supplies is Australia and New Zealand's premier importer and wholesaler of automotive glass products.

We are currently seeking a self-motivated individual to join our team as a full-time Storeman/Forklift Driver, working out of our distribution centre in Derrimut, VIC.

The Storeman Driver is responsible for organising inventory within the warehouse and the transportation of goods to our customers. National Auto Glass is seeking an individual who is reliable, organised and punctual.

• Picking and packing orders: preparing goods for pickup, delivery or couriers (pick, pack and load)
• Stock rotation and return: replenishing and putting away stock
• Conducting Cyclic Stocktake and Full Stocktake
• Receiving and processing deliveries of accessories and local purchase stock
• Handling used carton/crates: cutting/breaking and disposal
• Packing of cartons and crates
• Ensure delivery docket and paperwork for each carton for dispatch is prepared
• Maintain and keep the warehouse clean and free from hazards.
• Ensure company vehicle maintenance: cleaning and reporting of any issues to ensure vehicles are well maintained and safe to operate
• Perform any reasonable ad hoc duties directed by management as required.
• Loading crates and cartons onto freight company delivery vehicles.

• Experience as warehouse worker/forklift driver.
• Proficient communication and interpersonal skills.
• Polite and well mannered, with the ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to lift heavy items.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Forklift licence.
• Computer skills.
