Disability Support Worker
Engagement: Self-managed NDIS participant — contractor (ABN) preferred.
Roster: 2–4 longer shifts per fortnight; each includes a sleepover; some weekends
Remuneration: Above-award with sleepover arrangements above industry norms (full NDIS rate)
About the role
Male client (quadriplegic) seeks a thoughtful, reliable support worker for personal care plus light admin/program tasks. Training provided.
You'll thrive here if you
- Are considered, adaptable, and enjoy conversation
- Are comfortable with personal care required by quadriplegic due to chronic spinal cord injury.
- Practical and willing to help
- (Nice to have) A background in science or strong interests.
- Previous experience useful, but not essential.
Essential
- Female only (lawful under Equal Opportunity Act 2010 (Vic), personal care exception).
- Able to work sleepovers & weekends; willing to travel regionally (licence/car preferred).
Privacy & safety
The setting is a private home in safe, calm rural environment with privacy personal space. Most expenses covered.
