Latrobe Regional Health (LRH) is looking for Associate Nurse Unit Manager (Theatre) to join our growing team. We have multiple opportunities available either full-time or part-time.

The role of the Associate Nurse Unit Manager (Theatre) is:
- Support the Nurse Unit Manager in leading and coordinating daily operations of the Perioperative Unit.
- Provide safe, competent and evidence-based nursing care for perioperative patients.
- Supervise, mentor and support nursing staff to foster professional growth and high standards of care.
- Ensure compliance with LRH policies, legislative requirements and National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards (NSQHS).
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, risk management, and the promotion of a positive safety culture.
- Participate in workforce planning, resource management and staff education to ensure service efficiency and effectiveness.
About you
Ideal candidates for this role will have:
- Current registration as a Division 1 Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
- Competency in Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Evidence of recent perioperative nursing experience and professional development.
- Strong communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support and motivate others.
- Graduate Diploma in Perioperative Nursing, Advanced Life Support (ALS) competence (desirable)
