Latrobe Regional Health (LRH) is looking for Food Services Assistant to join our growing team on a casual basis.

The role of the Food Services Assistant is:

• Plate and distribute patient meals in a timely and accurate manner.
• Assist with kitchen cleaning, including dishes, benches, equipment, and floors.
• Deliver a safe, high-quality, and customer-focused service.
• Follow all hospital policies, procedures and legislative requirements.
• Contribute as a flexible and reliable member of the Catering Services team.

About you

Ideal candidates for this role will have:

• A current Safe Food Certificate or willingness to obtain.
• Previous experience in customer service, with a strong commitment to patient care.
• Good understanding of dietary needs and food safety requirements.
• The ability to work collaboratively, follow procedures, and adapt to change.
• Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks.
• Compassion, respect, and a professional approach when supporting patients and colleagues.
