The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to join a Perth based, ASX listed company that has operations around Australia, and is high performing and growth focused. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this role is pivotal in guiding Cedar Woods' corporate governance, legal, compliance and risk frameworks.

With options of between 3 and 5 days per week, and flexible working arrangements, the roles offers the ability to contribute at the highest level, providing strategic input, having Board interaction and providing legal advice across a broad range of business functions that are critical to Cedar Woods' ongoing success.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Serving as Company Secretary

  • Supporting and advising the Managing Director, Board & Board Committees

  • Ensuring adherence to the Corporations Act, ASX Listing Rules, & other relevant regulatory obligations

  • Providing high-level legal counsel & governance support across the business

  • Managing compliance and risk functions, including legal risk mitigation

  • Overseeing ESG reporting frameworks and corporate insurance programs

About You

To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate a strong track record of integrating legal expertise, governance acumen, and commercial insight to support strategic decision-making.

Specifically, you will have:

  • A Bachelor of Laws & postgraduate governance related qualifications

  • At least 10 years' experience in Company Secretarial or legal roles & with listed companies

  • In-depth understanding of the Corporations Act, ASX Listing Rules, and ESG reporting frameworks

  • Strong commercial acumen, communication skills and the ability to convey complex legal concepts with clarity

  • A collaborative, ethical and proactive approach with excellent stakeholder engagement skills

  • Prior experience in the property sector will be highly regarded.

This position is offered on a part time basis (minimum 3 days / 22.5 hours per week) or full time and can offer flexibility on days/hours to suit candidate's preferences.
