Aged Care Sales Manager

The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving client growth through effective lead conversion, client engagement, and onboarding of elderly clients into Salveo HomeCare's Home Care Package (HCP) and Support at Home programs. This role is ideal for a motivated and empathetic sales professional with a deep understanding of the aged care and community services sector, particularly in-home care delivery.
The successful candidate will have proven experience in working with elderly clients, case managers, and referrers to provide compassionate, informed, and compliant support, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience from first enquiry to active service delivery.
Key Responsibilities: Sales and Business Development
- Identify, pursue, and convert new client leads within both metro and regional areas.
- Develop relationships with hospitals, GPs, allied health professionals, community centers, and aged care referral networks.
- Promote Salveo HomeCare's services and value proposition across target regions and channels.
- Conduct in-home and virtual consultations with potential clients and their families.
- Maintain and grow a consistent pipeline of prospective clients.
- Develop a Marketing strategy and drive sales through the channels.
Client Engagement and Onboarding
- Manage the full sales cycle from enquiry through to onboarding.
- Conduct needs assessments to ensure client goals and preferences are aligned with appropriate service offerings.
- Ensure all client documentation and agreements comply with regulatory and organizational requirements.
- Liaise with clinical and care coordination teams to ensure smooth service commencement.
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate client experiences that build trust and satisfaction.
Knowledge and Compliance
- Demonstrate in-depth understanding of Home Care Packages (HCP) and Support at Home reforms.
- Accurately explain package inclusions, fees, subsidies, and eligibility to clients and families.
- Stay updated on sector changes, government reforms, and funding updates.
- Ensure ethical and compliant sales practices consistent with the Aged Care Quality Standards.
Reporting and Collaboration
- Report on conversion rates, pipeline growth, and regional performance to leadership.
- Work closely with the marketing team to optimize campaigns and referral sources. Develop key strategies for Marketing.
- Collaborate with care coordination and operations to ensure consistent client handover.
- Provide feedback on client trends, barriers, and opportunities for service innovation.
Key Selection Criteria: Essential:
- Minimum 3–5 years' experience in a home care or aged care organization.
- Proven experience in engaging and onboarding elderly clients into care or support services.
- Strong understanding of Home Care Package (HCP) and Support at Home programs.
- Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales or conversion targets.
- Ability to travel across metro and regional Victoria as required.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- High degree of professionalism, empathy, and integrity when working with elderly clients and families.
Desirable:
- Qualification in Aged Care & Business/Sales.
- Existing referral network within the aged care or home care industry.
- Experience with CRM systems and client management software.
- Understanding of aged care legislation and quality standards.
- Experience in Video making and posting on social Media
- Understand and experience in Social Media strategy
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $74,857.23 – $90,000.00 per year
