Truck Driver Required

Our Company:

Cardiff based company that has provided transport, logistics, and dangerous goods services for over 20 years. Our team has worked closely together with not only our suppliers but our teamwork within the organization which has proven strong and efficient with our dedicated long-term drivers and warehouse team.

We are currently recruiting for reliable HC/DG driver for ongoing role in the Newcastle Sydney and Hunter surrounding areas. To be considered, you must have a strong focus on safety and upholding our company's reputation by providing excellent customer service. Dangerous good experience/license is essential.

The role:

  • Delivering freight to and from Newcastle and rural area
  • Full time with hours being Monday to Friday with some overtime and weekends as required.
  • Participating and committing to safety standards and COR requirements at all time
  • Daily pre-start checks on vehicles and equipment
  • Complying with the Policies and Procedures, regulations including driving hour legislations
  • Managing fatigue in line with relevant fatigue guidelines
  • Restraining loads correctly and securely

Skills & Experience

  • HC Truck License with experience
  • Experience driving tautliner and or flat top vehicles
  • Multi-drop and bulk drop deliveries
  • Forklift license with experience an advantage
  • Ability to restrain loads using chains or straps
  • Excellent communication both written and verbal
  • DG Current License
