Qualifications & experience

  • Heavy Vehicle License – Multi Combination
  • B-Double Experience
  • Will be require to complete inductions where necessary

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Commit to BJR Transport safety standards
  • Pre-check vehicles for appropriate levels of road worthiness & refueling
  • Ensure loads are restrained appropriately
  • Responsible manual handling experience
  • Positive attitude and motivated to work
  • Punctual and good work ethic
  • Select the appropriate route to deliver goods to their destination
  • Manoeuvre the vehicle into position for loading and unloading goods, and help with loading goods to ensure they are safely secured and are easily accessible
  • Estimate weight of goods to comply with load limitations; ensure weight is distributed safely
  • Verify loading documents, check condition of goods and receive certification of deliveries.
  • Working hours from 5:30am until 2:00pm - 4:00pm.
