We're a leading financial technology firm, dedicated to delivering cutting-edge data solutions to our clients across the global capital markets. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated QA Engineer to play a critical role in testing and validating our proprietary market data platforms and APIs.

Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required for this position.

Key Responsibilities

As a Quality Assurance Engineer specialising in Capital Markets Data Technology, you will:

  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases (manual and automated) focused on the accuracy, completeness, and performance of our platform.
  • Implement and maintain automated test frameworks using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or similar, with a strong preference for proficiency in languages like Python or Java for scripting.
  • Perform rigorous data quality checks using SQL to query and analyse large datasets for reconciliation and validation against primary sources.
  • Collaborate closely with development, product, and data operations teams to identify, document, and track bugs from inception through resolution, using tools like Jira.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of our QA processes, tools, and best practices, specifically within a CI/CD environment.

What You'll Bring

Essential Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing.
  • Strong, demonstrable experience testing applications, APIs, and data feeds within the Capital Markets / Financial Services industry.
  • Proven experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
  • Experience with cloud-based testing environments (AWS preferable)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, or a related technical field.

Pay: $90,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
