Catholic Education Sandhurst Limited (CESL) is seeking a Source of Life Curriculum Learning Leader to join our Catholic Mission and Formation Team. This is an exciting full time ongoing opportunity.

Join us in this role and support the development and implementation of a consistent, high-quality Religious Education curriculum across the Diocese. Working within the Catholic Mission and Formation team, you will design curriculum, lead professional learning, and contribute to the faith-filled formation of staff and students in over 50 schools.

The Position

  • Title: Source of Life Curriculum Learning Leader
  • Classification: Education Officer (CEMEA 2022)
  • FTE / Hours: 1 FTE / 38 hours per week
  • Employment Status: Ongoing
  • Location: Bendigo, Wangaratta or Tatura
  • Other Requirements: Employee WWCC and National Police Check or VIT Drivers License
  • Potential start date: January 2026

About The CESL Office

The CESL Office Team comprises of close to 150 employees working across 7 key functional areas, supporting over 50 schools and early childhood centres within the Sandhurst Diocese. We are a supportive and friendly team who are committed to working collaboratively with our schools to achieve the best outcomes possible for our students. With office locations in Bendigo, Wangaratta and Tatura.

You will bring:

  • A strong commitment to the Catholic Faith and mission of Catholic Education.
  • Experience in Religious Education and/or curriculum development.
  • Ability to design and deliver effective professional learning.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and collaboration skills.
  • Confidence in analysing data to inform practice and improvement.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Commitment to child safety and inclusive practice.
  • Relevant qualifications and current VIT registration.
  • Accreditation to teach Religious Education and / or lead in a Catholic School

In 2025, a diocesan first, a comprehensive and exciting new learning and teaching program was simultaneously launched across over 50 Catholic schools in the Sandhurst Diocese.

Magnify Sandhurst will be introduced across 2025 to 2027, with each phase designed to bring measurable improvements in each learning environment.
