Join Alder Group as a Student Cadet (Civil and Infrastructure team) and work on real projects across the Gold Coast and SEQ, all while being supported by a team of industry professionals.

About the Role

Our Cadet Program is designed to give you practical experience across a wide range of construction disciplines, helping you build a strong foundation for a successful career in civil engineering.

As a Cadet, you'll support our Civil team with key commercial and project delivery tasks, including:

  • Pre-Construction: Estimating, tendering, commercial analysis, and design
  • Construction & Delivery: On-site delivery, scheduling, compliance, and quality assurance
  • Project Support: Contract administration, financial processes, safety, programming, and project management

You'll gain exposure to the full project lifecycle and contribute to meaningful work that shapes communities.

About You

We're looking for enthusiastic and driven students who are:

  • Currently studying a tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering
  • Strong communicators – digitally, verbally, and in writing
  • Organised, with great time management and attention to detail
  • Eager to learn, grow, and contribute to a high-performing team
  • Hold a valid Australian drivers licence and have their own transport
