Full-Time Head Coach – UBX Newport

Are you a qualified Personal Trainer with a passion for boxing, fitness, and community?

UBX Newport is on the hunt for an energetic and experienced Head Coach to lead our team and bring the flair, fun, and motivation our members love

About the Role

As Head Coach, you'll be the driving force on the gym floor, delivering high-energy workouts, building lasting connections with our members, and making sure every session is unforgettable. This is a full-time role, and we're looking for someone who is ready to inspire and lead by example.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coaching and motivating members through UBX workouts
  • Leading by example to create an exciting, results-driven training environment
  • Following up leads and converting sales to grow our UBX community
  • Supporting and mentoring other coaches in the team
  • Building strong relationships with members to encourage retention and results
What We're Looking For

Certificate III & IV in Fitness (essential)

Current First Aid & CPR certification

Boxing and pad-holding experience (required)

Group training & personal training experience

A fun, approachable personality with plenty of energy

Confidence in sales, with a proactive approach to following up leads

Ability to lead, motivate, and inspire members and coaches

Additional requirements:

  • Working With Children Check (WWCC)– if working with under 18s
  • Public Liability & Professional Indemnity insurance (highly recommended for PTs)
