Zerella Fresh is one of Australia's largest grower and packers of Carrots, Onions and Potatoes supplying Australia's leading supermarket chains plus independents and exports.

We are currently seeking experienced and motivated MAINTENANCE PLANNERS to join our team on a full-time permanent basis, supporting operations at our Parilla site in South Australia.

As a valuable member of our team, this position will play a vital role in the success of our operations. If you are reliable, energetic and have a passion for Maintenance we would love to hear from you.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, able to work both independently and as part of a team. Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager.

An attractive remuneration package between $70,000 - $90,000 is available to the right candidates.

Duties include:

· Create and schedule maintenance job plans, including preventive, predictive and corrective planes to ensure equipment is maintained with minimal disruption to operations.

· Create detailed work orders, outline required maintenance, materials and clear timelines.

· Coordinate with the maintenance team, operations managers and external contractors, ensuring schedules are aligned and the maintenance planning is clearly communicated, and responsibilities and timelines are understood.

· Maintain parts inventory, ensuring critical spares are always on hand, reducing delays and monitoring costs.

· Create standard operating procedures (SOPs) and task-specific instructions to guide teams

· Analyse equipment performance metrics, maintenance history and failure trends to identify patterns and opportunities for improvements.

· Maintain inventory records and procure parts and equipment as required in accordance with company process and procedure.

· Provide technical support and training to maintenance and operations personnel.

· Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to maintenance activities.

· Assist with the development and maintenance of engineering standards.

· Ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.

· Conducting risk assessments and developing contingency plans.

· All other requirements as directed to achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

· Relevant qualification plus at least 1 years of relevant experience OR at least 3 years of relevant experience.

· Unrestricted Class C Drivers Licence (essential).

· Knowledge of farming equipment.

· Cultural adaptability and a willingness to work with a diverse range of stakeholders.

· Ability and willingness to undertake manual, and sometimes physical work.

· A willingness to be hands on and participate in a broad range of duties, a strong work ethic is essential.

· Respect for others and pride in team's performance.

· Commitment to ongoing learning.

· Commitment to delivering team goals and the drive to be successful.

This position will require weekend and night work in line with production demands.
