Legal Counsel – Construction

A global leader in infrastructure and mobility solutions is seeking a Legal Counsel to join its in-house legal team in Sydney. With over 1,000 employees in Australia and a strong reputation for delivering safe, reliable and sustainable solutions, the company plays a key role in shaping urban environments.
The Role
Working within a small, collaborative legal team, this position has a strong focus on construction and commercial contracts. You'll provide legal support across a wide range of business activities and play a key role in contract management and negotiation. Candidates with direct construction law experience are preferred, though those with strong corporate or general commercial experience gained in a construction or infrastructure-related environment will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating construction and commercial contracts
- Advising the business on contractual risk and strategy
- Supporting governance and compliance matters
- Engaging with internal stakeholders and external advisors
About You
- Minimum 3 years' PQE
- Strong background in construction, corporate, or general commercial law
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
