As the NDIS Coordinator, you will lead daily operations, management of staff and the expansion of NDIS activities to support participants with low to high support needs, predominantly in our Yorke Peninsula and Mid North NDIS programs.

About the Role:

• Provide direct supervision and mentoring to team members and staff on a daily basis and model the CBS Inc. culture and values
• Effective collaboration and communication with key internal and external stakeholders regarding CBS Inc. NDIS activities
• Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with existing and new stakeholders including participants, families and disability services
• Provide hands on support to staff and participants, this role may include personal care duties
• Admin related to the programs including completing Service Agreements, report writing and incident management
• Undertake and follow HR procedures: shortlisting, referee checks, take part in interview panels, inductions, reviewing leave and timesheets, staff training, performance evaluations, management and rostering
• Maintain and review legislative changes/NDIS learnings to identify potential impacts on CBS Inc. NDIS activities as well as providing advice on implications for the CBS Inc. NDIS delivery models, policy and practice
• Responsible for the program design and improvement of participant supports
• Responsible for financial aspects of the program including understanding the NDIS price guide and any updates/changes and ensuring NDIS activities are financially viable
• Contribute to the identification and mitigation of program risks and proactively identify, report and manage risks and issues
• Coordinate and lead meetings with participants, families and other service providers
• Regular participant contact including backfilling staff as required

Position Requirements:

• Current Full Australian Driver's Licence (essential)
• 1st and 2nd dose COVID-19 Vaccine – medical exemption also acceptable (or willingness to obtain)
• 3rd dose or booking confirmation for COVID-19 Booster Vaccine (or willingness to obtain)
• Current NDIS clearances (or willingness to obtain)
• First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
• Manual Handling Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
• Child Safe Environments Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
