Job Description

Australia Backpacker Central Pty Ltd has 300 Horticulture positions in Mildura/Sunraysia region on the border of New South Wales and Victoria commencing from July 2025 and continuing for up to 9 months. These roles will include multiple different tasks including picking and packing grapes, pruning vines, rolling on, covering, pulling out of grape vines and general vineyard farm work, citrus picking, pruning of orchard and general orchard farm work and stone fruit picking and pruning of trees and general stone fruit farm work.

No previous experience is necessary; candidates should be motivated and able to learn quickly. Work is physical and outdoors, successful candidates will be required for early starts and work in a range of weather conditions. Candidates must be able to work within a team, take instruction, working quickly with accuracy, on the job training will be provided to the success candidates.

Workers must have a genuine desire to relocate to the area. Wages will be paid per the Horticulture Award 2020 at an hourly rate. Your usual hours of work will be 7am - 4pm, 5 - 6 days per week, average minimum weekly work hours will be reflected under the Horticulture Award Level 1 Casual.

You will be paid both hourly and piece rate wages dependent on the task allocated.
