About Us
Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District (NBMLHD) is a wonderful place to expand your career and grow your skills and knowledge. As a recognised leader in the healthcare industry, we provide a range of public health services to the Nepean, Blue Mountains, and Lithgow Region.
The Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District Alcohol and Other Drugs service offers free, non-judgmental services and treatments for drug and/or alcohol use, including information and support for families. Our service offers specialist drug and alcohol doctors, nurses and allied health staff who respect the client's right to choose from a range of treatments offered with our services underpinned by a philosophy of harm reduction.
An exciting opportunity for an occupational therapist, social worker or counsellor to join a rewarding team providing essential care to people receiving drug and alcohol treatment. As a Clinician in the Assertive Community Management team, you'll deliver direct, frontline care to patients navigating drug and alcohol dependency alongside co-occurring physical, mental health, and social issues.
This role champions harm minimisation and a recovery-oriented model of care, working collaboratively within a medically led multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive assessments, develop and review care management plans, and support patients in achieving meaningful goals.
If you're passionate about holistic, person-centered care and thrive in a collaborative, community-focused environment, we'd love to hear from you.
