THE ROLE

The Senior Project Officer position provides an exciting opportunity for a high-performing individual to partner with Aboriginal Housing Organisations and support them with achieving the housing goals for their community. You will be part of a small, dynamic fast-paced team which provides holistic support to Aboriginal Housing Agencies from project inception to completion of the development of homes for First People. You will have demonstrable experience of being a critical and analytical thinker; being proactive and organised; and having excellent stakeholder management, communication and project management skills.

ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE

  • Engage and build strong relationships to provide holistic support for them to achieve their community's housing needs.
  • Support housing project acquisition/ initiation including advice on due diligence, property transaction, planning and development viability.
  • Provide expert advice for detailed project development submissions for funding including providing feedback and advice to improve the quality of submission to maximise the opportunity for funding.
