Join our talent pool for a casual NDIS Support Worker role providing personalised support to participants across Southport and the wider Gold Coast region. Our client is a registered NDIS services provider. As a Support Worker you will help people with disability and veterans achieve their goals and live independently in their homes and communities.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care, domestic assistance, meal preparation and medication support in participants' homes.
  • Facilitate community access and social participation, including transport to appointments and activities.
  • Follow individual care plans and NDIS practice standards, documenting progress notes and reporting any concerns.
  • Carry out safe manual handling and high‑intensity tasks such as hoisting and PEG (percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy) feeding.
  • Work collaboratively with participants' families, allied health professionals and the broader care team.

What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience as a disability or community support worker.
  • Proficiency with hoist transfers and PEG feeding equipment (highly regarded).
  • Certificate III/IV in Disability Support, Individual Support or Aged Care (or equivalent).
  • Current First Aid & CPR, NDIS Worker Screening Check and valid driver's licence.
  • Reliable, compassionate and able to work flexible hours on a casual basis (up to 40 hours per week).
  • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to the rights of people with disability and veterans.
