What will your typical day look like?
As a Senior Analyst within our Financial Services Tax team, you will provide tax advisory and compliance services to a diverse array of clients across the financial services sector including funds management, superannuation, insurance and banking.
Expect every day to be different – assist with a client's domestic and international compliance obligations on one day, and work on complex domestic and cross-border tax matters, or a significant transaction engagement, on another. No two days are the same in the Financial Services Tax team – As a driven Senior Analyst you will work with a range of large well-known financial services clients, gaining deep knowledge of a variety of specialist investment vehicle types, investment structures, products, platforms and industry issues, cutting across a range of industry segments including funds management, infrastructure, property, public private partnerships, agriculture, renewables, insurance, banking and superannuation.
We provide a wide range of specialist tax services to an extensive and diverse array of clients – These include investment structuring, due diligence assistance (buyer and seller side), ongoing tax compliance and tax advisory on a range of tax technical and industry issues, working closely with other teams across our tax practice locally, nationally and globally as well as with other parts of Deloitte.

You are someone with:
- Experience working as an advisor to financial services clients.
- Experience providing tax advice and tax compliance services.
- A self-starter attitude with an ability to drive results and take initiative to identify areas of opportunity.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, differing complexity engagements.
- Strong interpersonal skills to maintain relationships with our clients and cultivate new ones.
- Demonstrated ability in training, delegating to and supporting junior members of the team.
- Works well in teams with a high attention to detail.
- Enthusiasm and a passion to learn, support, challenge and succeed.
