Our Client

Our client is a global law firm at the forefront of renewable energy major projects, renowned for its collaborative culture, international reach, and sector-focused approach. The Renewable Energy Projects team is highly regarded for advising on front-end energy, infrastructure, and major projects across Australia and offshore, providing practical, commercially astute advice on complex project structures.

The Opportunity

You will advise on high-value renewable energy and infrastructure projects, working across front-end matters, including:

  • Development and construction agreements: EPC, ECI, FEED, and EPCM arrangements
  • Renewable energy technologies: solar, wind, hydro, and other clean technologies

You will work closely with top-tier partners and collaborate with lawyers across Australia and internationally. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in client-facing, strategic positions and wants to contribute to the long-term success of the practice.

About you:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Admission to practise in Australia or New Zealand with
    18 months – 5 years' total legal experience
    (more senior candidates welcome to reach out)
  • Strong interest in renewable energy and energy transition projects
  • Experience in energy projects, construction, procurement, and/or regulatory frameworks
  • Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a global, multi-jurisdictional environment

Lawyers with experience in top-tier, mid-tier, boutique specialist firms or in-house roles are encouraged to apply.
