They offer first-rate corporate law services and have offices across most of Australia's major cities including Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth.
**The Team**
Our client's Projects & Energy team acts for a variety of clients, including organisations that are operating at the forefront of the of the global energy transition. As such, they provide cutting edge advice on alternative and renewable energy projects and transactions, touching on a range of issues including:
- M&A and project structuring
- procurement and construction
- financing and investment
- planning and environmental matters
- IP and technology
- regulatory matters
Members of the firm's Energy & Projects team therefore work collaboratively with lawyers within other practice groups including the Corporate M&A, Construction and Real Estate teams, and each have the opportunity to shape the direction and growth of the expanding practice.
**The Role**
The firm is currently looking for a passionate and motivated Lawyer or Associate who is keen to advance their career in the clean energy and resources space.
This role will see you working under a market-leading Energy and Renewables partner, and gaining exposure to interesting and complex matters which will require you to come up with creative yet commercial solutions.
As a key member of a growing team, you will undertake a range of responsibilities, including preparing, reviewing and negotiating project-related, M&A and commercial documentation, undertaking complex research into novel areas of law, and liaising with clients as their key point of contact.
**Skills & Requirements**
- A strong academic record;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- A high level of commercial awareness; and
- Enthusiasm to be involved in business development activities.
