We are seeking a motivated and organised payroll professional with exceptional attention to detail to join our Operations Team as our Payroll Clerk. This is a permanent, part-time position based in Sydney, offering flexibility to work from home and an opportunity to join a supportive, people-focused operations team.

Role Purpose

As a key member of the Operations team, you'll assist with the preparation and processing of weekly payrolls, maintain employee payroll data, and ensure compliance with legislation and company policy. You'll work closely with Venue Managers, Finance, and our external payroll provider to deliver a smooth and positive payroll experience for all employees.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Process weekly payroll accurately and efficiently across all venues
  • Review timesheets, leave requests, and employee changes for accuracy
  • Maintain employee payroll records and ensure data integrity
  • Support compliance with Fair Work, taxation, and superannuation obligations
  • Assist with payroll reconciliations, reporting, and end-of-period tasks
  • Respond to payroll queries from staff and managers
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and support payroll system enhancements
