Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role located in Sydney, NSW, with some work from home accepted, for a Senior Electrical Engineer. The Senior Electrical Engineer will design building electrical systems, review project requirements, produce technical drawings, and ensure compliance with local codes and standards. The role involves collaborating with engineers, architects, and other key stakeholders, conducting site visits, and supporting project management activities from design to implementation.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software
  • Experience in designing and modelling building electrical services
  • Knowledge of local Australian building electrical services codes and standards
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CPEng, MIEAust, DBP Accreditation, NER) are a plus
  • Must have at least 5 years local, Australian design experience
  • Must have worked at least 5 years in the Australian Building Services sector (no other sectors will be relevant and considered for this role)
  • Must be vibrant, dynamic & a fast thinker
  • Experience working in the following specific building sectors (Commercial, Residential, Industrial, Retail, Education, Health, Fitout / Refurbishment, Data Centres)
