The Role

We're looking for a
Senior or Lead Full-Stack Engineer
to take ownership of architecture and help scale our flagship product. You'll lead from the front staying hands-on with development while guiding and mentoring others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and evolve the application architecture (TypeScript-heavy, AWS serverless environment).
  • Build and scale both front-end and back-end components for a global product.
  • Plan and execute technical goals aligned with business milestones.
  • Collaborate with engineering peers across Sydney and Hong Kong.
  • Provide lightweight coaching and technical mentorship.
  • Contribute to design decisions for scalable, event-driven systems.
  • Champion secure development principles, especially around encryption and client-side security.

Tech Stack

  • Languages:
    TypeScript (≈80%), JavaScript, small amount of Rust
  • Front-End:
    Modern frameworks (React or similar)
  • Back-End:
    AWS Lambda, serverless architecture
  • Data:
    SQL / DynamoDB
  • Security:
    Client-side encryption model inspired by password managers
  • Bonus:
    Familiarity or curiosity about AI/LLM integration, plugin architectures (MCP), or cryptography
